Our Doctrine
We believe in a Holy Triune God, who is present in three forms, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came as the perfect sacrifice to fulfill the Law, paid for our sins, and is the Way to restored relationship with God.
We believe in the Holy Spirit who Jesus sent, that He is present with us, dwells in every believer and equips us in the gifts of the Spirit.
We believe all people are born separated from God, but through the redemption of the Cross can be restored to their original purpose, holiness and intimate relationship with the threefold God.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and is the foundation and anchor to a living relationship with God.

We believe that every woman has been created in the image of God and has a unique purpose and calling on her life. We exist to help women discover and fulfill that purpose by providing resources, support and community for them to grow in their faith and walk with God.
We believe that every woman should be treated with respect, love and dignity and that every woman has the right to live out her God-given potential. We are committed to promoting equality and justice for all women, regardless of her background or circumstances.

In 2020, Arizona Christian University did a study that discovered that only 6% of adults actually had a biblical worldview and only 2% of millennials (ages 18-36) have biblical beliefs.
We are the spiritual minority in that 2% but it is our hope that in dedicating ourselves to biblical truth, that we will be a living testimony to the will of God and inspire transformation in the lives around us.

While we are aware that moons and stars are spiritually significant to other religions (ie, New Age and Islam), we have chosen to incorporate them here because of the biblical symbolism it holds.
Genesis 37:9 poetically references Abraham as a sun, Sarah as a moon and their children as stars. We have adopted this symbolism in The Daughters of Promise to represent us as women, “the lesser light” (Genesis 1:16), married to Jesus and reflecting the light of Christ.
